VelvetPix collects only a device-generated User ID and local gold coin and subscription status. Your gallery, film entries, notes, selected images, and preferences are not collected by VelvetPix and remain on your phone.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how VelvetPix handles information when you use the VelvetPix Android application and these related web pages. VelvetPix is intended only for users aged 18 and over.
2. Information We Collect
VelvetPix limits its collection to the following information:

Information we do not collect
VelvetPix does not collect your name, postal address, phone number, contact list, precise location, advertising profile, gallery entries, film titles, viewing notes, imported images, camera library, or payment card details.
3. Local-Only Storage
Your film archive, selected images, notes, local reports, showcase choices, User ID, coin balance, and membership status are stored on your phone. VelvetPix does not operate a cloud account for this information. Removing the app or clearing its storage may permanently erase locally stored content.
4. Subscriptions and Gold Coin Purchases
Subscriptions and gold coin purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google under Google Play's terms and privacy practices. VelvetPix does not receive or store your full payment card details. The app receives only the transaction or entitlement information needed to apply the purchase and maintain the related local status.
5. Processing You Request
When you deliberately use an AI identification or question feature, the specific image or text you submit must be transmitted to the service used to produce that result. VelvetPix does not add that input to a marketing profile or retain it as collected account data. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information through an AI feature.
6. Your Choices and Control
- You may choose not to use purchase or AI features.
- You may delete individual local records using the controls in VelvetPix.
- You may clear all local data through the app's reset control or Android system settings.
- You may manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play.
Because VelvetPix does not maintain a cloud account containing your gallery, there is no remote gallery profile for us to retrieve, sell, or share.
7. Users Aged 18 and Over
VelvetPix is designed for adults. We do not knowingly offer the service to, or collect information from, anyone under 18.
8. Security
VelvetPix uses Android platform protections and local encrypted storage for applicable app state. No method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should also protect your device with a secure screen lock and current system updates.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or platform changes. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice where required.
